Tara... I have TWO Crumplers! They rock! That being said, I have no idea how big or small your new camera is, so I'm not sure size-wise what would work for you! Crumpler's website has sizes posted so make sure you get one that's big enough for the camera.

I just Googled the G10 and it looks smaller than my Digi Rebel, but bigger than a compact point-n-shoot. And, looking at the two bags you're contemplating, it would appear that both would work. The $1Million Bag seems like it would have more room in it... cell phone, keys, makeup, wallet, new camera (hahaha) might fit in there, too. Might be worth it... just check the sizes to make sure your camera would fit!

That being said... is a Crumpler an over-kill? I don't think so... they're cool looking AND they seriously protect your camera. Whatever camera you might have! And at $35, give or take, I say 'go for it'!

I have a $4Million Home and a $6Million Home... the $4M holds my Rebel + one lens. I take that to soccer games... camera + zoom. The $6M holds the camera + THREE lens + room to spare! They are seriously soooooooooo well-made, sturdy, padded, the Velcro and buckles on them are strong... it's just an all-around good bag. In my humble opinion, of course!

Oh, and if you order it and it's the wrong size or whatever, the Crumpler peeps are very, very helpful... their customer service is as good as their bags!

(Can you tell I love Crumpler? hehehe)
