Oh, Laura, you made me laugh ... so true with teenagers! And I agree, Julie, you'll find your way. I rarely make 1 photo pages ... I just have too many photos and I also love to look at them all. I have started taking the photos that I don't use on pages, but want to see (odd ball photos you might say) and working them together on page(s) with maybe a date/description. Basically photo album style. That way they get printed and we can look at them as well. I put these pages right in with my other pages.
