Just a note... I just finished trying to use a backup to move my ACDSee files to another computer. It doesn't get .pdf files and a few other types of files. (At least mine didn't, but that may be because I don't tag the .pdf's, just the design elements that come with them.) Also, not all of the tags worked correctly. It depends on what version of ACDSee you have.

In the new 2009 version, there is an option to embed the tags in the metadata of the files (I can't remember the file menu option because I have ACDSee 10 and it is not available in that version I don't think). It is something that you might want to check out. For me the backup didn't work well and I ended up retagging almost half of my stuff.
