Still have (and can't find an excuse to replace) my DSLR Nikon D70s. It is 6 mp, and I have camera envy over the new ones that have true 35mm format and 12 mp. But, I can't justify the expense of a newer, bigger, always wanting more, camera. ;-) (Except, I do keep saying if I did get a new one, my dd with little children could have my current one. . . ) LOL

The whole missing out because I don't carry my camera with me has occurred to me more than once, and I do give serious thought to getting a point and shoot for my purse. I do carry my flip video and love being able to pop that out, but a P&S would be so much better. I do take my camera to events at work and send them in to the regional paper (I am on the "photo posse") but it would be so cool to take pics of everyday stuff to send in as well. (Sarah's dad's camera sounds like an awesome deal!)
