With the Back To School season here for many of us, my mind traveled to all things related to classrooms and landed on chalkboards! Chalkboard elements can add interest to our pages, whether they are school related pages or not.
A search of the Designer Digitals store shows 165 chalkboard products. The Wayback Wednesday challenge this month is to design a page using one or more of these wonderful products. I have chosen three chalkboard products to be on sale this weekend and to be featured on Creative Team pages. These products are:
Linda’s (earlofoxford) wonderful layout uses one of the Chalkboard Dots. Doesn’t that pop of black add a finishing touch to her great layered creation?
In addition to the Chalkboard Dots, Linda used Layer Works No 359, Cooked Solids Paper Pack, Cooked Add-On Paper Pack, Cooked Element Pack, Calne Element Pack, Almost There Element Pack, Graphic Pop Buttons No 01, Bead Scatterings No 01, Capped: Rainbow, Fine Line Border Lines Brushes and Stamps No 12, Drop Shadow Styles No 02.
Kayleigh also tucked one of these great little Chalkboard Dots among her famous layers.
Elisabeth (Lego) used one of the beautiful Chalkboard Basics Subtle Patterns Paper Pack No 1 as the backdrop for her sweet invitation. Her photos and details really pop against the dark background.
In addition to the Chalkboard Paper Pack, Elisabeth used School Rules Scrapbooking Collection, Torn Classic White Photo Frames No 03, Stamped Stitched Alphabet, Watery Alphabet No 07, Artsy Layered Blends No 01, Shining Clusters No 02, Spill Frame Layers No 05, Mayve Not Element Pack, Floridian Mini Kit, Josie Element Pack, Stitched Words: Birthday, Clean Stitched: White No 03, Pencil Lines Borders No 01, It’s Black and White.
Sharon also used these products: Astro Scrapbooking Collection, Jingle Add-On Paper Pack, Cardstock Tabs No 03, Leyton Element Pack, William Element Pack, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat No 01, Wood Veneer Photo Frames No 01, Basic Tags N0 02, Watery Photo Masks No 08, Jelly Alphabet No 19.
I used one of the Elastic Strung Chalkboard Tags No 01 as a place to add the date to my layout.
We hope you will join in the fun and design a page using a chalkboard product. Then add your page to the Scrapbook Challenges Gallery. We’d love to see what you come up with!
