Today Designer Digitals is introducing a new challenge on the DD blog. We are calling it “Type A”! (This challenge is an offshoot from our old “Just My Type” challenge.) Don’t panic if you are a devout Type B personality like I am . . . somehow we can create even though we may be a procrastinator, too casual and laid back (just a few of the main characteristics of a classic Type B gal)! We will be challenged once a month to create a layout using some aspect of the alphabet. For those who are hard core “Type A’s, don’t bite your nails or grind you teeth . . . don’t loose any sleep. Just put this on your list and dive in for some fun! For this first week of this new challenge we will be a bit loose . . . lets scrap one letter of the alphabet! You can use one very large letter, one letter which represents your topic, one letter to begin your journaling, one letter repeated several times, etc. Just use your “fave” letter of the moment and scrap away. Two of our Creative Team friends, Beckie & Debi have scrapped wonderful pages for this new challenge.
Beckie’s (aka mungerre) layout is perfect for the first page for the challenge! I am familiar with the subject of her photograph . . . the Rainbow Loom . . . my grandchildren love them. I love that she snapped such a cute photo of her daughter working so intently on her project and love the primary colors with which Beckie has scrapped this fun activity.

Debi’s (aka beehive50) layout is all about the letter D . . . Debi said that as she pondered the challenge, it came to her that the letter “D” has been a big part of her life, so to speak! What fun Debi’s layout is and so very creative too! I do believe that this layout contains more products than Debi has ever used on a layout before!! LOL

My (Mollie aka readstoomuch) layout uses a photo of one of our grandchildren along with the letter “Y”! When I started my page for this challenge I had a great idea . . . which went flat quickly (you are familiar with the scrappers mojo syndrome), so when looking for a another photograph to scrap, I found one of our granddaughter, and I thought . . . she looks like the letter “Y”. Things sort of fell into place from there! Maybe I will use my original idea in a future “Type-A” challenge!!!
I can’t wait to see how this new typography challenge inspires you. Please post your completed pages in the Just My Type gallery for all of us to enjoy.
