Template Scrapbooking Challenge: Movies, Books and More

Kim here with this weeks template challenge! I really enjoy documenting lists. Especially the things that we may forget about down the road. I do however, need to be better at doing this more often. When I came across Studio Double-D’s Layer Works No. 155 I knew immediately that I wanted to play with it.LT725024

Steph took the opportunity to document a few of her girls favorite movies. I love how she wrote down the detail in her journaling…such a great mom! And the neutral palette is wonderful not to distract from the focus. I grew up watching movies. My dad collects movies. We can just go over to his house to “check out” a movie. However, with this template I wanted to step outside of the box just a little and document something other than movies. I opted to go with the four most recent books that I have read.TC052213-KimSupplies: Assorted Messy Stitches: White No. 03, Baker’s Twine: Lime, Catana Element Pack, Chevron Cardstock: Orchard, Clock Parts No. 07, Defined Tapes No. 01, DocuStacks No. 01, Enchanted Easter Element Pack, Everyday Clusters No. 01, Fine Lines Border Lines Brushes and Stamps, From My Bookshelf No. 02 Element Pack, Layer Works No. 155, Layer Works No. 203, Library Card Collection: Basics, Masking Layers No. 01, Maybe Not Solids Paper Pack, Messy Stitched Rounded Corners: White No. 01, My Bookshelf Alphabet: Natural No. 01, Spring Twists No. 01, Sentiment Journalers No. 01, Spot Dots: Orchard, Stamped Edgers Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Striped Dots: Orchard, Textured Cardstock: Orchard Paper Pack, This Time Brushes and Stamps, Vintage Charm Element Pack, White and Grey Tab Alphabet, Wooden Alphabet No. 14

Bailey used the template to showcase some of the apps that she loves. I think it’s so fun to learn about new and different apps. I adore how Bailey used fun and bright colors. The star glow just shines on the dark background paper.TC052213-BaileySupplies: Layer Works No. 155, Day Out Paper Pack, Basic Paper Alpha: Teal, Life Lines Kit

I look forward to what you want to document with this template. Will it be movies? Books? Food? Family? The possibilities are endless. Please share your pages with us in the Template Challenge Gallery. Happy Scrapping!

I totally want to do a page like this dedicated to all the chick flicks I love! Where do you get the images to use on a page like this?

There are a few options. You can scan in your own movie covers, you can take photos of your movie covers, or you can search the internet for movie cover images. HTH! Hope to see your page in the gallery!
