Template Challenge: Thinking Alike

When I select a template for the Template Challenge and invite a couple of Creative Team members to join me, I usually complete my page that evening or the next day. I like to do my page before I see what my friends come up with for their layouts. Chalk it up to my idiosyncrasies. When I looked at the three layouts for this challenge using Studio Double-D’s Layer Works No. 118, I was struck by a number of things we all did that were similar.


All of us used shades of green and brown with neutral backgrounds. We all modified the title to fit our pictures. We left the cute epoxy sun and clouds in place because they worked with each layout. And it’s a tribute to the versatility of this template that we scrapped such different types of photos from baseball to prom to canoeing.
