The Story Scrapbook Challenge

Have you had a chance meeting with someone famous?  Perhaps lined up at a book signing of a favourite author and now have that personally signed copy?  Have you partaken in a trip where you toured a well known house or building?  Do you dream of meeting your idol?  Have you walked in their footsteps?   Have you met a character from a theme park?  Have you seen your idols at a rock concert?  Maybe you’d like to plan a dinner party with people you’d like to sit at your table, and why you have chosen them, why they are important to you?   Perhaps you have some memorabilia from someone famous that you hold dear to your heart?

It’s so easy to get star struck, and there is a story behind all of these prompts and it will tell a lot about you.  I totally cannot wait to find out who ticks your boxes  🙂   I want to hear about your brushes with fame!

Well we’ve found out a bit more about the brushes with fame from some CT here, hope they inspire you to tell your story.

I am sooooo jealous of Pam getting to meet the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond.  Not only that, but Ree signed her autograph as Pam’s friend !  I mean, that make it official, six degrees of separation, that makes the Pioneer Woman our friend too right?

Supplies used by Pam:   Textured Cardstock: Cape Paper Pack,  Ledger Grid Overlays No. 01,  Watery Photo Masks No. 09,  Stamped Years Brushes and Stamps No. 01,  ARTpack Stars No. 01 Brushes and Stamps,  Wild Horses Brushes and Stamps,  Doily Edgers No. 05,  Burlap Essentials Paper Pack No. 02: Bone,  Clean Stitched: White No. 03,  Catching Rainbows Element Pack,  Antibes Element Pack,  Thicker Inked Words Brushes and Stamps No. 11,  Wood Veneer Stars No. 01,  Flair Minis No. 01 (Katie Pertiet).   Jelly Alphabet No. 31,  Clear Thru Stars No. 01 (Maplebrook Studios).   Made of Jade Elements (Lynn Grieveson).

And then we move onto Sharon’s amazing page.  The story of circumstances, of relationships and marriages, and finding that some guy named “Mike” was related to her.  Then finding out just who Mike was and the kindness he personified, turned Sharon’s whole thinking about celebrities around.  Love it !

And for my page, I got to run in a race with one of our famous Australian sportsmen.  Okay so I like to say I raced him!!  Even if he didn’t know it.  But what a thrill to meet him afterwards.  I was completely star struck.
