Story Scrapbook Challenge

Mother’s day this month in many countries, so I want you to tell us a story about your mother.  And I know this may hit a chord for some of you but it may be a good page to get your thoughts and feelings down.

Do you know your mother or do you not?  And even if you know your mother, do you really truly know her?  Please celebrate her on a page.  Or are there words left unsaid.  This is your chance to tell her.

What’s your relationship like, is there a time in your life that really stands out?  If you don’t have a mother is there a woman figure in your life that has taken her place?

Whether your mother is with us or not with us – is there something you would like to say to her?  Even if you don’t ever utter the words out loud, here’s your chance.

I do hope you will play along and join us in this challenge this month.

The fabulous Deborrah (DivaMom96) one of our guest creative team members, has made the most exquisite page with that amazing photograph of her mother as a young mother flushed with joy and love for her little bundle.

Supplies used by Deborrah:  Garden Trails Add-On Paper Pack,  Blendable Layers No. 33,  Garden Trails Blendable Layers,  Simply Painted Botanicals No. 01,  Blendables Layered Template No. 06.

And my page is created to apologise to my mother as to the behaviour of my brother and I.  Do we ever really grow up?

Supplies I have used:  Garden Trails Scrapbook Kit,  Garden Trails Paper Pack,
Garden Trails Stitch Pack,  Torn Templates No. 01,  Spill Frame Layers No. 12,  Flair Minis No. 01,  Painted Photo Borders No. 02.

The team at DD have generously provided a freebie to help you on your way, the link is good for the entire month of May.  I hope the goodies inspire you.   I am really looking forward to reading your stories.

Post your pages in the Scrapbook Challenge Gallery and don’t forget when you use ALL DD product on your challenge page you should post a link of your page in the May Challenge Participation thread so that it will count toward your savings in the rewards program.  Everyone’s a winner!
