I am a fan of the clean graphic look in scrapbook pages, so I was immediately drawn to Polar Bear Swim by Sarah (sterkeurs.) The wide band across the page containing her awesome photo and added word art makes this a standout layout and one that our CT was excited to lift.
Carol’s (carolee) layout commemorates an event similar to Sarah’s—a personal victory! Big congratulations to both of them! Carol’s page design includes a vertical band containing her photo and a stunning blue background.
Linda (earlofoxford) also turned the band in her layout and added a stunning sunset photo and biblical quotation. Her subtle blue stamping is a perfect addition.

I love it when the subjects of the scraplifts are varied, so we can see many possibilities. Carol scrapped her race, Linda scrapped a sunset and, for the third example, Mollie went a completely different direction and scrapped her adorable granddaughter dancing! Such diversity of subject matter! Curling the edges of the photo band, masking the photo and adding brushwork were Mollie’s unique personal additions.

A big thank you to Carol, Linda and Mollie for providing the wonderful scraplift examples this week. We’d love to see your lift of Sarah’s wonderful layout join theirs in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery.
