Welcome to another Simply Done Scrapbooking Challenge! It’s Beckie (mungerre), with a challenge to help inspire you to scrap simply! Today’s challenge is complete with freebies, inspiration from the Creative Team and a chance to win a $5 store gift certificate.
We are focusing on white space today, but with a twist. The challenge is to use colorful white space to compliment your photo and journaling. Three members of the Creative Team have already been inspired with the freebies and the challenge.
First, Carol created this fabulous page about her husband and his able-pawed apprentice. In addition to the freebies, Carol used Crumpled Papers No. 1 (coming soon), Almost Spring Kit, Almost Spring Solids Paper Pack, Hinged Photo Frames No. 05, Wood Safety Tags No. 01, Graphed Paper Pack No. 02, Basic Bare Chipboard Alpha No. 03, and Hinge Pack by Katie Pertiet, and Gilded Spring Paper Pack by Andrea Victoria.
Next we have this beauty by Merrilee. Just look at the the gorgeous color that she has captured on this page! Merrilee used Watery Spots No. 07 (coming soon), Almost Spring Add On Paper Pack, Stamped Journalers Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Stamped Journalers Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Hallows’ Eve Mini Kit, Paper Cuts No. 01, Watery Wings Brushes and Stamps from Katie Pertiet and Samma Kit from Maplebrook Studios.
For my page, I chose a butterfly that visited our butterfly bush last summer, and I used Stay Here Kit, Terra Botanica Kit, Painted Photo Masks No 2, Wood Veneer Photo Mats No 1, Scrap Stamps Home No 1, Edge Overlays No 5, Classic Cardstock Winter Park and Artistry de Blanco by Katie Pertiet and Vellum Alpha by Lynn Grieveson.
