Seeing Red: A Digital Scrapbooking Color Challenge

I think of red as the ultimate ‘pop’ color. Here are a few examples of how red can put an exclamation point on an image:

Your challenge is to create a scrapbook page using red in small ‘pops’ to add the finishing touch or ‘wow!’ factor to the layout. You can use an otherwise completely neutral palette or include other color in your page as you like.

This was a fun challenge for several of our creative team, and I think you’ll really enjoy the extra inspiration their layouts deliver!

Carol’s page is both incredibly beautiful and incredibly touching. On Esther’s Page, red emphasizes an rather unhappy but memorable event. She used the following supplies on her layout: Messy Stamped Chevrons No. 1, This Moment Layered Template and Color My Love Solids Paper Pack by Katie Pertiet; How’d They Do That? No. 13: Bending Shadows by Cassies Jones

Jenelle captured her boys in a really special moment. Something about photos taken from behind the subject always really captures me! Jenelle used these supplies, all by Katie Pertiet, to create her layout: Page Blends No. 4, Arctic Whites Paper Pack, Bracketed Sentiments No. 3 Brushes and Stamps, Fine Line Twists No. 1, Mist Brushes and Stamps, Bookshelf Framers No. 2, This Moment Layered Template
