Saturday Scraplift: Square Stories

Good morning, and a happy Easter to you. It’s raining here, perfect for cosying up to create a simple Saturday scraplift. This week I’ve chosen this lovely page by Maruma.

I love the sweet colour scheme, pink and brown are one of my favourite colour combos. The design of the page, with the block of photos and elements and brushwork behind, is pleasing, and the story is so cute!

What I love about digi scrapping is the speed with which we can commit memories to the page. Yesterday we had a trip into Glasgow to collect my new wedding ring, and one of the malls had an egg decorating activity. Amy and Tom enjoyed using icing bags to decorate their eggs. I was inspired to use a simple colour scheme, and mostly used elements from one kit for this page. I loved the photo corners in Maruma’s page, and the Be Hoppy kit contains cute metal photo turns which were perfect!

I used Botanical Colors Cerulean Meadow Element PackBe Hoppy Scrapbooking Kit; ARTpack Loops Brushes and Stamps No. 01Boxed Type Spring Brushes and Stamps.

Now show me your pages inspired by Maruma’s page. Post them in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery so I can leave some love. Also remember to post in the rewards thread for March to participate in the rewards scheme when using 100 % Designer Digitals products. Enjoy your weekend!
