That’s what we’re all about, right? Words and pictures. Yes, we love playing with all the fabulous goodies available here at Designer Digitals, too; but when all is said and done, those lovely supplies help us preserve memories of the past for the future. I love how Liz T (lizzie5t) tells the story of where she is right now in life, ending one season and beginning another, and that photo of her right in the middle is wonderful on so many levels. Three of my fellow Creative Team members jumped at the opportunity to lift Liz’s page, and they all did a terrific job telling their stories. Be inspired!
Mirjam (Mielz) scrapped a gorgeous winter scene and chose the perfect icy blue for her background and elements. Her shadow work is awesome, and I love that not-in-a-straight-line title. In terms of design, she was quite faithful to Liz’s original page – never a bad thing!

When my grandchildren were little, I remember taking photos like the one Jheri (Jheri) used on her page – who wouldn’t kill for those eyelashes? The perspective on the picture is perfect, and Jheri used the softest of pinks for her background. She tells her story with a series of well-placed word strips.
Sharon (justbnsharon) scrapped a cute shot of her granddaughters on a roller-skating adventure. Her basic design follows Liz’s, but I love how she used word art on one side of the central picture and detail photos on the other side – those linked arms are just precious.

There are myriad ways you might be inspired by Liz’s page – I’m eager to see where it takes you. Remember to post your lift in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery as well as in the March Challenges Sign-in thread in the forum. Happy scrapping!
