Saturday Scraplift: Watery Goodness

Hiya, the sun is shining here, it really makes everything happier, doesn’t it?

This week I’ve chosen this page by Bhalter (Shari). I love watery brushes, they give such an arty touch to pages, and there’s a great selection in the store. The story also made me smile, though I think I’d also be a bit nervous with that large animal head poking into my car! The greenery really sets the scene, great choices of elements.

Sometimes it’s good to stay simple, making for a restful page. I started like that, but when I tried basic neutral backgrounds I just wasn’t  happy, then I remembered this fun paper from the Whimsy Wings Kit and it just conveyed the fun we were all having in the garden on Monday after school. The boys were playing at tig and races, my sister was painting her fence rainbow colours and the girls were twirling.
