Saturday Scraplift: Straight and Angled

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Scraplift. I know that the holidays are quickly approaching but I just fell in love with this wedding page by Liz (lizj). Not only is the photo stunning, but the way she built the background with soft vertical lines and then added a slightly angled photo frame just really works. I also love how the soft lace brushes mimic the lace on the dress.

This week, Julie (MaggieMae) made a pretty direct lift of Liz’s page with this page featuring her granddaughter’s senior picture. She kept the background color scheme, soft white horizontal lines and a top page border.

Up next is Carolyn (Amson) with her beautiful but sad layout about the thirsty birds due to a drought. She chose soft chevron brushes for her background as well as watery grids. She also really liked the idea of the hinged photo.

Finally, Rachael (myssp) made a fun page with this awesome photo! She used a gradient fade with her diagonal striped background and a great page topper. Love the xxo detail under the hinge.
