Saturday Scraplift Scrapbooking Challenge – Layers of Fun

When I saw this page that Brenda (bbe) created for the Hearts Galore chat challenge, I knew it had to be this week’s Saturday Scraplift.  I loved the half heart element and the layers and the otherwise simplicity of the page.  So fun, so creative and so inspiring.

A few of the CT have volunteered to help start off the gallery by sharing their pages that were inspired by Brenda’s work.

Mollie has packed up a few of her friends here and she’s ready for another fabulous trip. What a great way to get so many photos on a page.

Mollie used these products to create her Travel Friends page: Arrow Outline Sentiments Travel Brushes, Basic Paper Alphabet: Yellow, Be Labeled: Harvest, Bead Scatterings No.1, Curated Mix Scrapbooking Kit No1, Honeycomb Layered Template No1, Jelly Alphabet No.11, Naturally Krafty No2 Paper Pack, Notebook Paper Pack No5, Spot Dots Brushes and Stamps No1.

Esther outdid herself with this page that will be the cover of her travel book to the US. I suspect there might be a few more travel books sporting a similar cover after seeing this fabulous page.

USA_coverEster’s supply list looks like this: Fifty States Brushes and Stamps, Map Overlays No1, Rimmed Framers No2, Roughed Up Photo Mats: Maps No2, Almost There Solids Paper Pack, Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit No1, Finley Element Pack, Going Away Element Pack.

Aino, did a great job of “keeping it simple” with her very creative lift using frames. This makes me want to lift her page as well.

Aino’s supply list looks like this: Just Linens Avesta, Heart Borders Brushes and Stamps No1, Brilliant Love Element Pack, Soft Hearts Brushes and Stamps No1, Classic Deckled Frames, Chalked and Scribbled Hearts, How’d They Do That? No13: Bending Shadows.

My page features that white stuff that I read is now on the ground in 49 of our 50 US states! I used elements rather than photos for my layers and I’m very pleased with how it turned out. Thanks so much for the inspiration, Brenda!

Winter

The elements I used on my page came from these kits: Winter Artistry, Watery Photo Masks No8, Toothy Halloween Paper Pack, December Kit, January Kit, Ledger Painted Flakes, Round Robin Kit, Satin Stitched Flakes White, Freezeday Kit, Iced Kit, Winter Peony, Flake Scatters No1, February Kit, Clear Thru Flakes No1, Frosted Fun Kit, Flaked Edges No1, Crocheted Banners No2, Winter Ice Kit, Thistle Fields Kit.

I hope you’ll join us in lifting Brenda this week and we’d love to see your page in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery.  Remember, if you use all DD product on your page then it qualifies for the Rewards Program so be sure and post a link in the February Challenge Participation Sign-In thread  for proper credit.
