I’m thrilled that it’s time for another Saturday Scraplift Scrapbook Challenge!
CelinaT has been rocking the gallery with gorgeous pages lately, and this beauty is no exception:
The vibrant colors and adorable photos are certainly eye catching, but the strong design composition of a vertical column on the side of the page is what really caught my eye. It inspired some beautiful pages from our CT as well!
Lynnie added a blended background photo to the vertical column of small photos for a page that really ‘kicks!’ She used these supplies: Berks Paper Pack, Frightful Kit, Splatters 3 Brushes and Stamps, Kick It Brushes and Stamps, Jewelry Tag Alphabet, Cut Ups Soccer, Thin Classic Photo Frames, Twisted Stitches Brown No. 1, Messy Stitched Borders Golden, Stamped Sentiments No 7, Striped Words, TypeSets Soccer, Geometric Hints No. 3
Sam’s page is done is her signature clean, graphic style, still featuring the strong column of photos and inserting a text block into the mix. She made use of: Taped Word Strips No. 4, Pointies Brushes and Stamps No. 2, Simple Collage Frames No. 2, Arlesey Add-On Paper Pack, Striping Graphic Bursts Brushes and Stamps No. 1.
I used some vintage actions and masking to make less than ideal photos work for my page about my daughter’s dance recital. (You take what you can get photographing those low light indoor performances from a seat in the audience, right? ) My product list included: Corby Solids Paper Pack (coming soon), Star Glows No. 1, Painted Photo Masks No. 1, Vintage Blendables No. 18, Watery Photo Masks No. 2, Pale Word Bits No. 1 (new this weekend), Fine Line Twists No. 1, Essential Hand Drawn Words No. 1, Attic Treasures Alphabet, Leyton Element Pack, Arlesey Element Pack (new this weekend).
I am looking forward to seeing the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery fill up with your ‘on the side’ pages! And don’t forget–we have a new rewards program for participation in our challenges! Check out this thread for all of the details on how you can increase your savings at Designer Digitals! (Hint….you’ll want to be sure to sign in here when you’ve completed your ‘on the side’ lift!)
