Hiya, are we all ready for another Saturday Scraplift? This week I’ve chosen this page by Kelly (wsprite_ad). I liked the use of the hanging frame, with so many well-chosen elements. The brushwork helps to balance the page nicely.
I asked Jenelle and Wendy to join me in creating a page for the challenge and they stepped up with great pages.
Jenelle chose a lovely photo of her son. I love her choice of colours, they work so well together. She used: William Complete Scrapbooking Collection; Whitacre Woods Scrapbooking Kit; Shining Clusters No. 01; Wire Rimmed Charms No. 01; Watery Typecast Blends Brushes and Stamps No. 02; Worth Repeating Brushes and Stamps No. 19; Cloudscapes No. 02 Paper Pack; Neutral Word Bits No. 02; Typed and Scripted No 2 *coming soon*; Banner; Twine Templates No. 01; Fine Line Twists Brushes and Stamps No. 02; Inked Whimsy Brushes and Stamps No. 02; Layer Works No. 503
Wendy used vacation photos for her page. I loved reading the journalling, and loved that she used a large photo in the background!
Wendy used: Vintage Photo Frames no. 36; Transfer Alphabet No. 01; Blendable Layers No. 02; Beachy Clusters Brushes and Stamps; Hinged Photo Frames No. 01 Curled and Flat; Artsy Seaside VALUE Pack.
I went back to summer photos for inspiration for my page. I chose this photo of Amy and Peter, and added some collageable jigsaw pieces at various places.
I used: Frame hangers no. 01; Faringdon kit; Fresh Vintage: Asha Washi tapes; Collageables jigsaw pieces no. 01; In the Post No. 02; Doily Edgers No. 02; Bexley kit; Lila Bleu kit; Washi Tapes Botanical No. 02; Winter Artistry kit; Hamilton kit; Mai minikit; hint-at-it brushes no. 09; Ready made borders neutral no. 02.
I hope this has inspired you to create a page based on Kelly’s layout. Please post your pages in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery. Also remember you can join in with the reward scheme by using all Designer Digitals products, and posting in the reward thread for February.
