Good morning everyone. I’m up early on this side of the world trying to get a few things done before it gets too hot to think. We have a 38’C (100.4’F) day forecast today. Too hot for me AND we don’t actually hit Summer until December!!!
I love page designs which allow you to play with your photos a little; to maybe even use one odd little photo and make it look like more in order to tell a story. I was immediately drawn to this page in Deanie’s gallery
I’m quite the Shakespeare fan, so I love Wendy’s page celebrating one of his fairies, Peaseblossom. I really like the way Wendy has lifted not only the three frames and the wooden title, but also the large blended background photo to great effect.
On her page Wendy used Katie Pertiet’s product:
Wood Veneer Keylined Frames No. 1
Far Away Fairyland Kit
Far Away Fairyland Transfers Add-On
Collageable Notions No. 01
Stamped Blocks No. 34 Brushes and Stamps
Wooden Alphabet No. 10
Agnieszka has used a photo cluster to highlight one big, gorgeous photo along with an extra smaller photo – so creative! She has chosen a wood veneer title like Deanie, and the little swimming goggles detail is too cute!
Agnieszka has also used Katie’s product:
Photo Clusters No. 48
Connected Wood Words No. 06
Bead Scatterings No. 04
Notebook Paper Masks Brushes and Stamps No. 01
Artsy Spots Brushes, Stamps and Layers No. 02
Stamped Stitched: Summer Brushes and Stamps
Swimmies Element Pack
Worth Repeating Brushes and Stamps No. 28
ARToptions Neutrals Paper Pack No. 01
I had a strange little photo that I took while walking the other night and this design was perfect to tell this little story. I have done a very literal lift, keeping my frames just the same as Deanie’s and repeating and rotating my single photo to give the impression that there are more than one.
I hope you will be equally inspired by Deanie’s wonderful page and our interpretations of it! Remember – this design can be used to display any number of photos – have you got something begging to be scrapped today??
Post your lift in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery and in the November Challenge Participation Sign In thread. I’m looking forward to seeing where Deanie’s design takes YOU this week!
