Saturday Scraplift: Go Big for Impact

When I’m doing a travel album, I normally don’t design a title page and cover until I’ve done all the interior pages. I feel like I need to work with my photos for a while before deciding what I want to feature on those all-important layouts. But if inspiration strikes, I am not one to ignore it. And that’s exactly what happened when I saw Connie’s (connieg) striking page in the gallery.

The large photo immediately grabbed my attention because we had just returned from vacation out west and the scenery reminded me of the Grand Canyon. The more I thought about Connie’s page, the more I liked the idea of lifting it for the title page of my vacation travel album. Although we visited the Grand Canyon, I was really overwhelmed at the natural beauty of Yosemite National Park and decided to feature one of my shots that includes El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Falls.

If you have a great photo that deserves the spotlight, you’re going to love lifting Connie’s page. Post your lift in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery and in the May Challenge Participation Sign-in thread in the forum. Happy scrapping!
