Saturday Scraplift: Extra dimensions

This wonderful and very clever page by Amson (aka Carolyn) was created for the mask challenge, and she certainly made a standout layout for that. But there is lots of other fantastic inspiration here as well as the masking.

cocktatoosYou could duplicate and mask the photo to add that extra dimension just as Carolyn did (and play around with the Artistic filter you can find on the filter drop down menu).

Or you could use watercolour brushes or any rub-on behind the photo.I love the use of the twill to break up the design, as well as the use of the Word Art and the painted journaling block.

It was great inspiration for scrapping some sweet photos of my daughter:

Kelly’s layout is a delight of painterly brushwork and rub-ons:

While Sarah achieved a great boy layout by replacing the doilies with more masculine elements and baseball stitching:

Pardon my ignorance but how do I add this to “my favorites”? Absolutely lovely!
