Saturday Scraplift: Explorer

Welcome to this week’s Saturday Scraplift! Today’s featured layout is Explorer by Maruma. There are so many things that captured my eye with this layout. I loved the color contrast and the circle brushes behind the photo. The clear journaling block and the edge treatments on the top and bottom of the layout were also wonderful additions. Let’s take a look and see how some of the creative team members were inspired.
Entdeckerin_webFirst up is Sharon (Shannamay). She also used the contrast in color, pairing neutrals with bits of blue. The vellum paper block and the circle brush draws the focus to the photo in this touching layout.

Next is Trace (tracermajig). Trace used a completely different color scheme for her birthday layout. She used a colorful background brush and similar placement for the journaling block. She completed her layout with lively edge treatments.

Anke used vellum on her layout as well but placed it over the photo. She then shifted her journaling to the side. Like the original layout, she also used edge treatments as the finishing touch to her AAM layout.
