For those of you who played along during the 3rd quarter challenges, you’ll know I have a special fondness for scrapping on the edge! So, naturally, this week’s Saturday scrap lift is of a page created for that challenge, by the very talented CelinaT! Check it out:
Let’s see what some of our fabulous CT members did with this inspiration! First, by Brenda (bbe), who said “It was unbelievably hard to leave all that white space.” But, I think we can all agree it was worth it! I love how she flipped the design vertically. Those cluster stickers made a nice border!
On her page Brenda used these products: Little Dudette Scrapbook Kit, Colorful Clusters Stickers and Brushes, Anzio Element Pack, Stuffed Edge Journalers No. 02, Every Moment Brushes and Stamps, Life Lines Element Pack, Readymade Borders: Love No. 04, and Dotted and Dashed Brushes and Stamps.
Elisabeth (lego) created a page using the original for a basis, but look at those gorgeous colors on here! Love that ripped frame and bling, and the cool way she decorated the die cut leaves bordering the photo.
For her page, Elisabeth used these products: Cutting Files: Chunky Cuts Leaves No. 01, Watery Blumes No. 14, Striped Mix Neutrals Paper Pack, Colorful Paint Layers No. 02, Little Dudette Scrapbook Kit, Harvest Fields Scrapbooking Collection, Fastened Frames No. 07, Leyton Element Pack, School Days Brushes and Stamps, ARTpack Lace Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Stitching Holes Borders No. 02 Brushes and Stamps, Doily Edgers No. 05, Fine Line Scribbles Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Marlow Element Pack, Artistry d’amour Kit, and Painted Word Strips No. 01.
I was inspired by the horizontal flow of the original design, and the black and white photo, but as you will see, my page took a slightly different direction with a long, horizontal photo. That’s the great thing about scrap lifts, they take you to unexpected results sometimes!
On my page I used: Torn Templates No. 04, Recolte Chalked Transfers, Recolte Chalked Element Pack, Recolte Chalked Paper Pack, Recolte Paper Pack, Anzio Scrapbooking Kit and Stuffed Edge Journalers No. 02.
I hope you will be inspired to play along! Please post your pages in the Saturday Scraplift gallery, and be sure to include it in the September Challenge Participation Sign-In, so you get points for participating! Happy scrapping, can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
