Sometimes I see a layout in the gallery and I know immediately that I have to scrap it for myself. That is what happened when I came across Anke’s lovely page Along the Shore. I knew immediately I wanted to scrap it and decided to use it for our Saturday Scraplift. It has definite eye-appeal! I like the corner focus with the smaller photo and soft colors and the cute touch with the little fish in the upper corner.
I selected a favorite photo of two of my granddaughters sitting on the edge of a pond. I wanted to keep the blue of their dresses the main color so I drew most of my elements from Readymade Layers Botanical Clusters No1. I really like working with any of the Readymade Layers Clusters because they give me the finished cluster plus the cluster pieces that I enjoy using as brushwork and accents to enhance my page. I also added pieces from Garden Trails Collection, Meriam Ridge Kit, Watery Wings and Branches Paper Pack No1, Clipped Stacks with Layers No14 and Fine Line Titles No21 Brushes and Stamps.
I hope you are up for a challenge today find inspiration from the Anke’s piece. Be sure to post your project in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery. If you use 100 % Designer Digitals products be sure to post in the June Challenge thread so it will count toward your savings in the rewards program.
