Happy Saturday everyone! Ready for some scraplifting?
I LOVE a layout with lots of white space. They just kind of make my soul glad when I look at them, so this beautiful page of OKate’s (created for the Artsy Challenge), jumped out at me in the gallery!
When I asked the Creative Team if anyone would like to join me in lifting OKate, I had 3 very quick volunteers, so I’m hoping that lots of you will want to give this a go as well!
Merr (digigrandma), was inspired to create this lovely page about a young violin player close to her heart.
She has used Katie’s new Big Bottom Lift Vintage Photo Frames, as well as her Splatters Brushes and Stamps No.02, Readymade Layers: Love Borders No.04 and Vintage Postage: Red. She also used Stems of Three: Hearts Brushes and Stamps from Maplebrook Studios and Cathy Zielske’s Simple Patterns No.02 as her background paper.
I love the softness of Diane’s (dvhoward55) sweet layout about her sweetheart!
She has used Katie’s Big Painted Patterns Brushes and Stamps No.06, All My Heart Brushes and Stamps, Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit No.33 and has also used the new Big Bottom Lift Vintage Photo Frames.
I love seeing my sister Carmel (caapmun) and her DH in the gallery especially as we live on opposite sides of the country!
Carmel used the Looking for Love Complete Scrapbooking Collection to create her lovely layout.
As well as all the white space, I loved the downward movement created by Okate with the use of the Striping Graphic Brushes and the Yarn Swirls. In my layout I have tried to replicate this movement with arrows.
I hope you will be inspired by Kate’s gorgeous page to create your own layout with lots of white space. Remember to post your page in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery and in the February Challenges Sign-in thread in the forum. Remember that to qualify for challenge rewards your page must contain all Designer Digital Product. Happy Scrapping!
