This Saturday Scraplift Challenge, we are lifting one of our Creative Team members, Irene (Scrappie Irene). It was fun to go back through Irene’s gallery to find a page to lift. There are so many wonderful layouts to choose from, especially her fabulous travel pages.
My teammates, created some beautiful pages to get us started with this challenge. Stacia choose this wonderful page, The Story of Fall.
I love how Stacia lifted the semi-opaque layer around the page – such a cool look! And what a photo!
Agnieszka (Arte Banale) decided to take inspiration from Irene’s style in general to create this fabulous page. I love the large blended photo in the background! So well done.
Although I adore Irene’s many travel pages, I absolutely loved this sweet artsy layout because of the blended photo in the background combined with a page within a page look.
Blending modes are fun to play with and it can give your page an entirely different look. I struggle a bit with ‘artsy’ blended pages, so I knew that this one would be a great challenge for me.
When I tried to lift it, I ended up with something quite different! Still it was a perfect opportunity to record my daughter’s new sport.
