Saturday Scraplift Challenge: all in a row

Good morning everyone! I was impressed by the light and airy quality of the page that Lacey (laceybittner) created for the recent Artsy Challenge. I’ve been looking for a reason to use Katie’s new photo clusters – so it was the perfect page to lift. I loved the frames all in a row and the way Lacey used paper and elements to fill most of the cluster frames.

Sara (sarahorton) had been wanting to use the new clusters too, and used them to highlight photos of her son’s Summer Music Programme. I love how she’s used one of the frames to contain her title. A really sharp looking page with all that crisp and clean white space!

Sara used Photo Clusters No. 53, Basic Tags No. 02, Music Epoxies No. 01, Be Hoppy Scrapbooking Collection, Book Bag Days Back-to-School Scrapbook Element Pack and Arctic Whites Paper Pack No. 02.

Kim (KimR+) used the opportunity to document all the excitement of the eclipse. I am in awe of the way each and every element is used to support her theme. And what cool titlework!

Kim used Katie’s cool Totality Brushes and Stamps, Photo Clusters No. 53, Assorted Patterned Tapes: December No. 01, Artsy Shores Color Wash Paper Pack, Cardstock Tabs No. 02, Layered Alphabet Set No. 01, Lens Flares: Colors No. 01 and Word Labels No. 01.

I was on the other side of Australia recently for a conference, and took this shot. As I was looking at photos this week, I was struck by how it pulls at my heartstrings – and how it could have been taken in any number of places around the country. A quick search in the store for some Australiana – and I had my version of Lacey’s brilliant page done.

I also used Photo Clusters No. 53 along with Corby Scrapbooking Collection, Map Overlays No. 01 and Vintage Blendables: Outback No. 01

I can’t wait to see how you are inspired by Lacey’s great page. Remember to post your lift in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and in the August Participation Sign-in thread in the forum. Happy Saturday Scraplifting!
