Saturday Scraplift Challenge: Double Up

Good morning everyone!
I hope you are ready for some scrapping inspiration today! When I first saw this layout of Brenda’s (BBE) in the gallery, I knew straight away that I wanted to lift it.

I loved the clean elegant look to this page – and the subject matter is pretty cute too! I thought the technique of using the exact same arrangement twice, but shrinking it down for the second version was so cool.

Merrilee (digigrandma), loved it too, so much so that she stuck very closely to the original – even using the same subject matter. I love her page too – so gorgeous!

Merrilee used Astro Bead Scatterings, Blanca Paper Pack, Artsy Charcoal Layers No. 02, Classic Curled Photo Frames No. 01, Cut Ups: Photography, Symbology Postage Stamps, Lifted Paper Flowers No. 01 and Hinge Pack

I moved the two clusters a little further away from each other in my lift, and kept my embellishments pretty simple. I don’t have a pup – but I do have this gorgeous grandaughter who made great subject matter for my lift (I may just be a little biased). I have used Katie’s Garden Trails Scrapbooking Collection several times for scrapping photos of this little one. It just seems to suit her sweet little face! I also used some of Katie’s Classic Curled Photo Frames, but I used the No. 07 pack. I used Bead Scatterings No. 03 and Big Painted Patterns Brushes and Stamps No. 08.

So . . . do you have one sweet pup that deserves a stylishly elegant page all to his or herself? Or perhaps a sweet face of another kind? I hope you are inspired to create a lovely page based on Brenda’s work this week. Please share your page in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and don’t forget that 100% Designer Digital Product pages also count towards your monthly challenge rewards. Please remember to add your layout to the June Challenge Participation Sign-in Forum.
