Good morning everyone and a big, warm welcome to this week’s Saturday Scraplift Challenge. For this week’s lift, I chose this page by ElizabethW. I can’t tell you how much I love the classic design. Elizabeth used a broad border and the daintiest of elements to compliment her sweet photo, making it the focal point of her page. So beautifully simplistic but a total feast for the eyes!
Debi (beehive50) jumped at the chance to lift Elizabeth’s page. Debi stayed true to Elizabeth’s layout with the single photo and a cluster of goodies along the bottom, centered journaling with a brad at the bottom but chose a simple border line and the perfect brush to go with the tale of her page! Girls just wanna have fun comes to mind!
For her page, Debi used the following products: Handdrawn Hello Summer Brushes and Stamps, Coffee Stains Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat No. 01, Flair Minis No. 04, Great Escape Element Pack, Little Enamel Accents Rainbow, Sewn Statements No. 05 – Katie Pertiet; Moby Kit – Lynn Grieveson
Next to jump on board with her lift was Elisabeth (lego) where she has captured a delightful family moment. I love how she ramped up her lift with the poly photo frame and pink border, and substituted journaling with the childhood word art which adds a playfulness to her page. So sweet!
Here is Elisabeth’s supply list: Framed Photo Masks No1, Canvas Colors Paper Pack No. 03, Burlap Essentials Winter Paper Pack, Canvas Color Mix Paper Pack No. 10, Splatters Brushes and Stamps No. 05, Childhood Word Art No. 03 Brushes and Stamps, Poly Photo Frames No. 01, Bookshelf Flairs No. 02, Washi Tapes: Whites No. 01 – Katie Pertiet; Readymade Borders: Love No. 03 – Studio Double-D
Agnieszka (Arte Banale) was inspired by Elizabeth’s page to document a stolen moment with this little chap at his baptism! I love how the beautiful, soft tones in the photo overflow into the rest of the page with the teal string adding a lovely contrast. To finish her page off, Agnieszka chose the perfect quote. Just adorable!
I’ve been looking for inspiration to document this story of Charlie Bear who fell asleep at the dinner table! Elizabeth’s page was perfect. I didn’t want to detract too much from the sense of this quiet moment for Charlie so the classic design was just the thing and I went monochrome with smudgings of green. For those worried if Charlie fell… no, I quickly took the shot and Stuart lifted him to bed!
I used these products for my page: Krafted Cardstocks Paper Pack No. 02, Scripting Lines Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Messy Spotty Edgers Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Messy Spotty Edgers Brushes and Stamps No. 02, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat No. 01, Color Me Happy Edgers, Week-at-a-Glance Brads – Katie Pertiet; Pierrette Solids Paper Pack – Maplebrook Studios; Stitched Down Dates – Lynn Grieveson
