Saturday Scraplift: Bright Colors and Groups of Three

I am very honored to be walking in the footsteps of our own Lynn Grieveson and putting together this week’s Saturday Scraplift.  The minute I saw this terrific layout by Deborah Wagner, I knew it was my pick for this week’s scraplift.

AliDancingPeru2011Deborah gave us so many great scraplift inspirations in this layout—the yummy colors, that creative extraction, the unique arrangement of photos and elements among others. Connie, Bailey and Mollie took these inspirations in three terrific directions and have provided us with some wonderful scraplift examples.
Connie followed Deborah’s lead and used another delicious vibrant color for her super Easter layout. I love the way she hung Easter eggs from the top!

Bailey’s layout used another bright color to accompany this adorable photo of her little guy. She also used the three elements at the top of the layout, choosing to use grouped direction signs.

Mollie’s rich reds and greens really pop against the neutral background she chose. She also chose to hang items from the top of her layout, choosing silverware and a cup. Very clever!
