Saturday Scraplift: Alphabet Soup

Good morning! Welcome to the quarterly sale edition of the Saturday Scraplift! This week’s chosen inspiration is this energetic page by Arte Banale. She has such an amazing eye for design and I’ve been wanting to use her for the SSL for quite awhile. Today the focus is on alphabet letters and letting the title take center stage. I just loved how much movement and focus the big chunky title gave to her sailing page.

I didn’t have to work too hard to get some designers to play along and lift this amazing page. First up is Shannamay (Sharon) with her lovely floral page. The quote is absolutely charming and the drop shadows really help the title pop on the watery brushwork background.

laceybittner (Lacey) also was inspired by the big title and the photo placement. She also mixed the papers within her alpha to give a fun vintage feel to her title that works perfectly with the theme of the page.

Finally, here is my page. As I am want to do, this is a pretty direct lift. I even used the same papers for my alpha (just desaturated them to the colors were my daughter’s school colors.)
