I was one of many people taken in by this darling page by laralasvegas. The selective coloring, the row of images and the great story were all very well put together. This page was posted for the Story Challenge this month and I love when a page says way more than the photos. This will be such a great memory page to look back on when he “forgets” how to eat like this! Thanks for inspiring us this week Lara!
I have some great scraplifts to show you this week. Up first is Nancy (Nancy Beck) who was inspired by the row of photos as well as the fact that one was different than the others. What fantastic photos! Such a great capture.
Classic Cardstock Festive Brights, Messy Stitched Rounded Corners White No.1, Stormy Weather Kit, Classic Curled Frames No.6, Color My Love Kit, Color Study Yellow Paper, Shine On Kit, Banner Labels No.1, Swimmies Epoxies, Dara Kit, Hello Sun Brushes and Stamps, Yarn Swirls, Day Out Kit, Carte Post Solids, Swimmies Kit, Artsy Paints No.1, Watery Spots No. 7, Dragon Trainer Kit
Carolynn (Mamabean) took the inspiration and went with it! Eschewing her normal layered style, she found the row of photos reminded her of a comic strip and that became the perfect theme for her son’s birthday pictures. Love it!
I also love (and am SHOCKED) by her small supply list.
Laying It All Out No. 10: A Bit of Comic Relief, Spot Dots: Tidal Wave Value Paper Pack, Super Friends Kit
And finally I pulled out a series of photos as well. I kept the design really simple and borrowed the paint splatter and neutral background to keep the emphasis on the photos.
Tidewater Kit, Stitched Up Photo Frames No. 03, Watery Spots Brushes and Stamps No. 03, Fine Line Alphabet No. 01, Scrap Express No. 107 (epoxy)
Looking forward to seeing where this design takes you this week!
