Saturday Scraplift: Add a tag

I love the creative take on a blocked design in this lovely page by Carol Ann:

(I also love the subject of this page, which is a wonderful example of scrapping the little everyday things, but that’s a whole other story!).

She has two photos, but has made a strong rectangular block by combining them with a tag, then cleverly layered that block over a shaped text area. It makes for a wonderfully cohesive design. Love that fun title too!

It was the perfect inspiration I needed to scrap these older scanned pics of mine:

satscrap-pool-1Layout by Lynn (me!). I used my own “Riley” kit, “Worn Strips: Chevrons” and “Worn Photo Edges 2″ as well as Katie Pertiet’s “Stamped Tags No.01″ and “Maybe Tomorrow” paint.

Carolyn made a page filled with love:

Through_and_Through_webShe used Katie’s “Maybe Tomorrow”  and “Vintage Press Blush” Solids, “Vintage Press Blush” Element Pack, Wood Veneer Hearts, “Looking for Love” Kit, Striping Graphics No 1 & 2, Vintage Photo frames No.31, Lots of Love Freebie (02 2013), Botanist Workbook paperpack No.01, Docustacks No.03, Bohemian Photo mats No.01, Blendable Journalers No.01, Stamped Stitched Photo masks No.01, “Color my Love” element pack, “Sweet Rose Bay” element pack, Basic Tags No.02, “Frosted Winter” paint and Wooden Words: Love.

She also used Ali Edwards’ “Love Languages” Brushes & Stamps and “Pin Its! Pearls” by Pattie Knox.

Kathleen came up with this delightfully colored and layered page:
