Saturday Scraplift: A soft transition

This week we are lifting a very pretty page by Jaycee from Australia:

As well as the delicate, pretty colors what caught my eye with this page was the way the brushwork is used to “extend” the photo to create a soft transition between photo and page. Or maybe you’ll be inspired by the design, using opposite corners of the page.

Melanie ‘flipped’ it and went with a black and white photo on a patterned background, with this adorable result:

Esther used it for an eye-catching titlepage, combining bold color with a black and white photo:

Which, in turn, shamelessly inspired me to scrap a titlepage for the travel album I am working on – of our winter trip to London.
