Hello! The prompted challenge for December is “‘Tis the Season….”
‘Tis the season to be jolly – but what does that mean to you? Do you think about decorating? Wrapping presents? Spending time with family? We would love to see where the journal prompt takes you – and I have three examples here to help inspire you.
beehive50 took this adorable photo of her dog who was not terribly impressed with the Christmas decorating commotion:
Debi’s page was created using the journal prompt freebie, Seasons Finest Solids Paper Pack, Big Bottom Lift Classic Photo Frames No. 01, Rope Line Twists Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Twisted Stitches, Flair Minis No. 01 by Katie Pertiet.
bbe created this stunning work of art based on the prompt – I love the blue and the blended Santa:
bbe used the journal prompt freebie, Canvas Color Mix Paper Pack No.14 (coming soon), Scratchy Scribbles Brushes and Stamps No. 03, December Days Brads No. 01, Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit No. 31, Santa Land Element Pack, Wintery Clusters Brushes and Stamps No. 02, Snowfall Overlays No. 01, Blendable Layers No. 11, and Hamilton Mini Kit by Katie Pertiet.
I took the opportunity to document a bit of my Christmas decorations – which pairs a painting my daughter made for me and also a little turned penguin from a friend.
For my page, I used the journal prompt freebie and the Krafty Christmas Paper Pack (coming soon!) by Katie Pertiet as well as Studio Double-D’s December Days Layer Works No. 03.
There is a journal prompt freebie that you can download to use for the challenge. I hope that you join in and share your page in the Scrapbook Challenge Gallery. Remember, if your page includes all DD products then it qualifies for the Rewards Program where you can earn discount coupons for the DD store – just link your page in the December Challenge Participation Sign In thread!
