Prompted Challenge: I would rather…

Hello everyone! Today’s challenge focuses on journaling, and we have a fun freebie (linked below) to help you get your words on paper.

Do you ever search for the best way to describe how strongly you feel about something? Or does it ever surprise you how much your tastes can differ from a close family member or your best friend? Today, we want you to use the power of comparison to highlight those preferences! Whether you make it silly or serious, I bet it will be interesting for you to fill in the phrase:

“I would rather _____ than _____”

The journal prompt inspired three of the Creative Team members to focus completely on the story, and we all ended up with photo-less pages!

Britgirl created this page to explain her love for good coffee – and even the colors make me wish for a cup of good coffee myself.

To make her scrumptious page, Britgirl used Espresso Mini KitSymbology PostageStrips No. 01Morning Brushes and StampsJust Linens Paper Pack No. 60Watery Brushes and Stamps No. 03Wax Seals No. 01Make Your Own Postmarks Pack, collageable pieces 3 (coming soon) and the journaling challenge freebie.

mugsbigsis created this gorgeous page to document a few of her preferences – and I think her love of dogs is all the more obvious for the comparisons she uses.

For my page, I decided to interview my family in a sort of round robin game, where they had to build off of what the person before them used. It was a lot of fun, and I could see using it to pass time on car trips in the future!
