Photography Scrapbooking Challenge: Get in Line

Here we are, back with another challenge for you photographers at heart. I thought it would be fun to find a picture with lines. There are so many lines in our lives, a line of cars in traffic, a line-up of ingredients for a meal, a line of people, a line of trees, you get the drift šŸ™‚
I did get a couple of our sweet CT members to come up with an example for you. Here is Mel’s page. She took a picture of her cook books, I always love to see books on a page, don’t you? The little tilt she gave her picture just adds a bit more interest. Beautifully done!!

Then there is LeAnne with a picture of her daughter’s little toys
I love the large photo and how she duplicated the line with the title and the arrow. What a sweet page!

I also found a page in the gallery that I thought to be a perfect example for the challenge. I am including a link here, but you have probably all seen it already. It’s Joanne’s Subway page and you can admire it here:

NY Subway

I love how the lines of the rail lead the eye deep into the background. Wonderfully done!

Lastly here is my page. I took this picture in Charleston, I just loved the line created by this wall/fence (aside from the fact that it is just beautiful) I created a vertical line with the photo (sticking with the lines :)) and the brushwork on the right extends the line of the fence a bit.

All supplies used can be found in the gallery of course.

I hope these pages inspire you and will get you out there looking for lines! Have fun! Oh, I almost forgot… there will be a random winner of a 5$ Giftcard to the store and I will give you until Sunday morning 10AM, so you have plenty of time to look around for inspiration. Please post your finished pages in the Photography Scrapbooking Challenge Gallery
