Photography Scrapbook Challenge: On the Plate

The holidays are coming up. To many, food is a big part of the celebrations. While I was growing up, my mom would spend hours in the kitchen preparing a meal. We would bake dozens of different cookies and treats and deliver them to our close friends and neighbors. Food plays an important part of the holidays in my life.

For this months photography challenge, we are going to share pages with photos of FOOD! The food doesn’t have to be holiday related. It can be your favorite meal. What you ate for dinner. A quick snapshot of the meal you ordered on a lunch date with friends. Or a dessert you shared with someone special!

Looking at the scrumptious doughnuts from various bakeries around California can just make your mouth water. I love the way Debi wrapped her journaling around the frame. And how fun is the stapled down fork? 110614-Photog-DebiSupplies used: Photography Challenge Freebie 110614, Whiteacre Woods Solids and Stripes, Watery Spots Brushes and Stamps No. 11, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat No. 03

Anke created a page of her stress free cooking in Charleston. I adore her clusters and how she filled the frames with different patterns. She too used staples in a fun way to tack down the pan! 110614-Photog-AnkeSupplies used: Blendable Layers No. 10, Photo Clusters No. 48, Eat Cake Kit, Striped Mix: Autumn Ice Paper Pack, Cooked Element Pack, Hint at it No. 11 Brushes

Sarah’s page is a close up of her yummy soup from her lunch date. How fun is her extraction of the chop sticks…which by the way, I have never been able to master. I always result to a fork or spoon. Her journaling of the special lunch date is top notch!110614-Photog-SarahSupplies used: Whiteacre Woods Solids Dots+Stripes, Bold Sentiments Brushes and Stamps No. 11, Sumi Twists Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Trickery Solids Paper Pack, Photography Challenge Freebie 110614
