I’m sure many of us love to pick up our cameras to play around with settings or trying to get the perfect shot. I enjoy getting detail shots of various items. This month our photography challenge is to get UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!! A macro lens is not required for this challenge. Depending on your camera, your camera may have a macro setting. This setting can usually be found on the dial, and may have a flower icon. Another option for this challenge is to zoom in on something as close as you can! I actually have a macro filter that I twist onto the end of my lens. It was very inexpensive and I find that it does a great job! I also know that there are macro lenses you can add to an iPhone!
I (Kim) went around my yard with this photography challenge. I love this time of year and watching the trees form buds. Watching those buds turn into leaves or flowers. I find it very fascinating. Again, I don’t have a macro lens. I just put my macro filter on the end of my lens and snapped away.
