When I think of October, I think of cooler temperature, red & gold leaves and I think of Halloween! I know that many countries don’t celebrate Halloween and that if you live in the Southern Hemisphere you may be changing from summer to spring . . . while where I live in the Northern Hemisphere we are moving from summer to autumn.
For this makeover, the theme is the changing seasons or in some of our areas, enjoying Halloween. You can choose a layout from your gallery (or someone else’s gallery) and simply change out the colors, the papers and the photos . . . or you can choose a layout that you really don’t like and keep the photos and journaling . . . keep or change the papers while you move things around until you end up loving it!!
The Designer Digitals Creative Team made new layouts showing their take on this makeover. Elisabeth (Lego) said, “I redid a page I actually like . . . I think it is really a bit of a challenge to do a make over of your own pages. There is not so much distance, you can remember why you placed this and that here and there . . . it was really a fun experience thought!
Elisabeth’s new layout is on the left below, and the older one is on their right. I too love both of them.
Products Elisabeth used for her new layout on the left are: Canvas Colors Paper Pack No. 01, Scripted Story Circles: Photos Brushes and Stamps, Scripted Story Circles Love Brushes and Stamps, Flourishing Leaves No. 01, Wooden Alphabet No. 13, Awesome Autumn Element Pack, Wood Veneer Plain Photo Frames No. 01, Stitching Holes Borders Brushes and Stamps, Collageables No. 03, Collageable Notions No. 01, Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit No. 29
For her Page Makeover, Jana chose similar elements and colors but with a fabulous patterned background paper. Jana’s pages are quiet different in style, but the same in warmth and the feeling of autumn and Halloween. Jana said, “It’s a lot of fun to do a page makeover! New products are always inspiring.”

I liked my (readstoomuch) layout from a few years back of our granddaughter at the beach paired with the fun template from a couple of years ago and thought that I would use a Halloween theme for another using this same idea.
