One Theme: Three Scrappers: The Here and Now!

Happy Holidays! And it’s time for the holiday edition of “One Theme: Three Scrappers” challenge on the DD blog! And while you might expect a holiday theme, we’re veering slightly off-course!  Since most of us are crazy busy at this time of the year, we thought it might be fun to create a quick page documenting the ‘here and now’: What’s going on with you now? Your challenge is to scrap a page of the ordinary or extraordinary “day-to-day” things.

Here are some ideas: What did you eat for lunch? What are you wearing? What is your favorite dessert? What are you reading? Or what are you worrying about? What is your favorite TV show? What did you do for exercise? What’s your guilty pleasure?  And, if you want to tackle the holidays: What’s your favorite Christmas treat? What are you most excited about this holiday? What did you ask Santa for this year? What are you doing on Christmas Day? O New Year’s Day? If you’re doing Project Life, this is a great way to add something fun to your week and participate in the challenge!

I’m not sure anyone captures the ‘here-and-now’ better or more consistently than Linda and this brilliant layout is no exception! Using the circles in the ‘page cut’ as a template, Linda has mixed papers, elements and her thoughts on a fun and clever layout. Best of all, I love that she also included exactly what she did that very day!

Doris included so many fun photos to support her random musings on things she loves, things she does and even what she’s wearing! I love the variety of questions she posed to herself… from her favorite dessert to what she asked Santa to bring to what she’s worrying about right now!

My daughter attends the University of Minnesota and she’s back home for winter break, arriving back in California just yesterday! My weekend was filled with shopping, laundry and wrapping presents prepping for her arrival! (And, I didn’t ‘get the memo’ to use red background paper! LOL)
