Mask Appeal Scrapbooking Challenge : Endless Possibilities

Hello everyone!  This is Jana and I am here with another Mask Appeal Challenge.  I really think this challenge will jump start your creativity!

People often associate masks with more artistic pages. However, masks come in all shapes and sizes.  The mask that Katie provided in the freebie pack for this challenge has very clean lines.  In my eyes, that means the possibilities for this mask are endless. You can see the creative ways that my friends on the Creative Team used it.

Melissa Hill’s page is adorable.  She attached three precious photos to the mask and added some fabulous layering behind the sequence of photos.  Melissa has such a great idea for page design and this color palette is so fresh.

Nancy Beck showed another great way to use the mask.  She attached paper to the mask and positioned it behind her photo.  You can see the mask includes some dotted lines.  Nancy carried those dotted lines throughout her page using brushes.  What a brilliant idea and her page came together beautifully.

I feel like my style switches between graphic and artsy.  I followed the lead of the mask on this page and created a very graphic page.  I had fun playing with angles which seems to have become my new favorite pastime!

I hope you are feeling inspired to jump right into this challenge.  Make sure you grab the freebie pack, use the mask from the freebie pack and post your page in the Mask Appeal Challenge Gallery before Wednesday, May 1st at 6:00 PM EST.  I will randomly select one individual from that gallery for a $5.00 gift card to the store.  I am looking forward to seeing where the possibilities take you.
