I have been an admirer of Carmel’s (caapmun) beautiful layouts since she started posting at Designer Digitals. One of her latest layouts, Sunset, impressed me because of her treatment of her gorgeous photo. She lined it up across the page and gently faded it.
CT members Steph, Sara and Kathie each chose a different aspect of Carmel’s layout. They have created three beautiful scraplifts to inspire you!
Steph followed Carmel’s example and lined up and faded her pictures of her husband and his “girlfriend.” The bright red of his jacket really pops against her neutral background. The story she tells is wonderful!
Thankful Hearts Mini Kit, Christmas Village Kit, Charted Brushes and Stamps No 1, Distressed Lines and Word Art Brushes and Stamps, Brushes and Stamps Fall No 1, Maybe Tomorrow Element Pack
Sara took a very different inspiration for her scraplift. She says, “I was inspired by the line-up of photos, the scattering of beads and the swoopy ribbon.” I think you’ll love her creative take on her lift!
Splatters Brushes and Stamps No 3, Dog Gone Cute Kit, Dog Gone Cute Stickers, Doodledo This and That Overlays No 2, Wood Shop Paper Pack No 3, Basic Tags No 3, Fasten Its No 2
I was so excited by the way that Kathie interpreted her scraplift. She says, “I was inspired by the way caapmun split her photo and the fading. It was such a delight to lift her page.”
