We are in mid-February already and that means it is time for this month’s challenge. Katie has a whole series of masks called “Stamped Blocks.” They are so versatile, so I thought it would be fun to play with them. The Creative Team has come up with some wonderful examples, so let’s get started:
Jana’s page is a wonderful blended piece, and she used the stamped block three times, rotating it and flipping it around, and used the painted photo border to highlight the entire page. In addition to the freebies, she included these products: Katie Pertiet: Canvas Color Mix No. 17, Destination Amusement Park Paper Pack, Great Escape Paper Pack, Watery Words Colored Transfers and BONUS Brushes No. 03, Studio DD: Layer Works No. 445 (altered)
Debi (beehive50) incorporated the stamped block into her style perfectly. I love Debi’s tailored, simple style and this is a perfect example of how you can add blending to any page, no matter what your style might be. In addition to the freebies, she used these products: Personal Best Brushes, Beloved Solids Paper Pack, Beloved Paper Pack, Flair Minis No. 04.
For my page, I duplicated and flipped the stamped blocks as well, and added an artistic filter to my photo to highlight the bee. In addition to the freebies, I used these products: Katie Pertiet: Blendable Layers No. 50, Canvas Book Paper Pack No. 01, Blendable Photo Cards No. 01.
A big thank you to Debi and Jana for helping me out this month and I hope you are inspired to try incorporating Stamped Blocks into your pages. You can download the free supplies that Katie has provided HERE. The New Year brings a new Rewards program so be sure to check it out and remember to post your pages in the Mask Appeal Challenge gallery as well as the February Rewards Thread.
