It’s autumn, and I’ve been inspired by some of the photos I took up in Flagstaff a couple weeks ago. I like to use Topaz Studio to turn my photos into digital paintings from time to time. I ran this photo through a few different filters in that program to come up with the image I used for this layout. If you don’t have any of the digital painting programs, you can achieve the same look using the filters gallery in Photoshop by using the watercolor, paint daubs, or dry brush filters. Once you are finished you can then move it over to your layout page and clip it to any mask or brush and you’re ready to go!
Here is what I came up with and the products I used: Textured Whites Paper Pack No. 3, Describing Autumn -Leaves, Artsy Layered Blends, Autumnal Artistry Element Pack, Vintage Mix Clusters No. 5, Botanique Element Pack No. 1.
When creating your page, you can use all or some of the products Katie has generously provided in the freebie pack. Remember to post them in the Mask Appeal Challenge Gallery and link up your page in the October Challenge Participation Thread, for proper credit.
I look forward to seeing your work in the gallery. Have fun!
