Hi everyone! Sharon here with this month’s itunes cover challenge. Last month we went retro: this month we’re using a 2017 debut album cover. I was drawn to the rather quirky but graphic feel to this cover with the opportunity to journal in list form not once, but twice – have to admit to being rather fond of lists! I loved the way the design plays with the text direction too.
Wendy and Debi both jumped in to create pages for this challenge – and I love them both!
Wendy took the opportunity to indulge in a little scrap therapy (gotta love a “keeping it real” page)! Wen has used the two list idea and I love the little touches of colour in the brads she’s used as bullet points. brilliant documentation of the not so great parts of life.
Debi scrapped a photo of her dad and her favorite uncle. She liked the overlapping photos and got all artsy – using the color burn option to blend duplicates of her photo. Cool! Two lists for the two brothers – perfect!
I chose to scrap a photo of me – eeek! And made a list of all the things I really have zero patience with these days. I seriously AM becoming a grumpy old lady! I pretty well stuck to the cover design, but in the end only used one list, so I used part of an overlay to mimic the list that runs down the side of the cover.
If you’d like to join us, please help yourself to this freebie which contains a couple of Katie’s Boxed-in Sentiments. Thanks, Katie!
I can’t wait to see how you’re inspired by this cover design. Do you love lists as much as I do?
Happy scrapping everyone!
