iTunes: Rise to the challenge

Heya, and welcome to this month’s iTunes challenge. It’s a lovely Easter weekend here, with gorgeous weather. We’ve had chocolate, done the garden and enjoyed family time.

I’ve chosen a great, summery cover this month for inspiration. We have it on a car playlist when I’m driving with the kids.

When I look at this cover, I see the photo frame as a strong element. You could also use a large background photo, with a smaller photo in front. I love the handwriting, and there are plenty of handwritten fonts out there to try. Then there’s that title, I love the letters surrounded by the cloud.

I decided to use a photo from our recent vacation in Inverness, where we visited Fort George, built after the Jacobite rebellion in the 18th century. It was perfect for hide and seek!

For this page, I used Wire Frame Grid Clusters No. 01; Title Lines No. 16; Little Dude Scrapbook Kit;

Stacia created this lovely page, with a series of small frames across the bottom. It looks a stunning place to visit.

I love the large photo, it deserved to shine, and the small detail shots and minimal well-chosen elements add so much to the page. Stacia used On White Layered Template Set;

Now it’s your turn, I’d love to see how you’re inspired by the cover. Katie’s generously provided a freebie for the challenge. Please post your pages in the iTunes Inspiration gallery so we can leave some love. Remember to keep track of your monthly challenge pages in the rewards thread to earn store discount on your 100% Designer Digitals pages.

Happy scrapping!
