iTunes: All is calm, all is bright

Hiya, and welcome to December’s iTunes challenge. This month the weather’s turned wintry here, though I know we don’t all live in chilly parts of the world. Still, take the time to curl up with your computer and enjoy some scrapping time. I sometimes have an image/ style in mind when choosing an album cover for the iTunes challenge, other times I just scroll through till I spot something interesting. I spotted this album cover on Spotify and was drawn to it by the graphic design, which I can see complementing snowy scenes.

There are those little squares of colour to add interest, and I like the vertical text, really works as a scrapbook template.

Mirjam (Mielz) joined me in creating a page for the challenge. I love the sentiment, as well as the twisted dots and stars across the layout.Mirjam used Twisted Dots No. 01; Starry Overlays No. 01; Evergreens Scrapbooking Kit; Winter Ice Scrapbooking Kit.

I love using a large photo in my pages, and this was no exception. I chose this photo of my boy from a few years ago, love the look of mischief as he clutches a large chunk of snow!

I used the challenge freebie and Watery Brushes and Stamps No. 01.

Now it’s your turn, let us see what you can create using this starting point. Katie’s generously provided a freebie for the challenge. Post your pages in the iTunes inspiration gallery so we can leave some love. Remember to keep track of your challenge pages in the December challenges sign-in thread to earn store discount.

Happy scrapping!
